We help under-resourced young people get started toward economic self-reliance
Our Strategy
We place each and every young person in our program with a volunteer “Life Coach” (mentor) who helps them accomplish two basic yet crucial milestones:
In order to begin building a resume, every young person must not only acquire a first job, but finish it well enough to use as a future reference
1. First Job (finished well)
The demographic we serve will likely never achieve this right of passage without outside help, severely hampering their chances to succeed. We can change this!
2. Drivers License
Bonus: Relational Connection!
A third and perhaps most important element that we hope results from accomplishing the first two milestones is a friendship that the mentee feels comfortable accessing for years to come.
